Founded on care

Interacoustics began by supporting schools for the deaf and continues to improve lives through advanced hearing and balance equipment for healthcare professionals worldwide.

We support global health and well-being, aligned with the UN’s sustainability goals. Our tools help detect hearing loss and treat balance disorders, enabling better quality of life.

Sustainability activities

Today, our caring perspective goes beyond the hearing healthcare industry. We feel obliged to care for our surroundings, the environment and the local communities in which we are based.

Environment & Climate

We have a clear ambition to reduce our environmental footprint. We are constantly finding ways to reduce our CO2 emissions and to better utilize waste and hard-to-decompose substances.

Reducing our footprint

Goals and initiatives include reducing packaging material, using recyclable materials in both products and packaging, and initiating product life cycle assessments (LCAs).

Society & Local Community

Interacoustics supports hearing healthcare communities through donations and partnerships that improve access to care and education.

We’ve donated equipment to the Norwegian Hard of Hearing’s program in Malawi, enabling hearing tests in rural areas and training at a school for hearing-impaired children.
