Learn about VisualEyes™ 3.1, which introduced the gaze stabilization test (GST), a lot more saccadometry summary data, and much more exciting functionality.
Interacoustics is pleased to announce VisualEyes™ 3.1, which adds many improvements to the existing protocols and some exciting new functionality:

And much more. Michelle Petrak, Ph.D., and Director of Clinical Research at Interacoustics, explains:
“VisualEyes™ 3.1 continues to advance the software beyond traditional VNG tests. These new features add value to existing users of the system and provide extra functionality that could be of use within physical therapy and neurology.”
The brand-new GST allows clinicians to test many head speeds with a constant optotype size. It provides exact, objective information for the patient on what head movement speed their vestibulo-ocular reflex (VOR) breaks down.
Elizabeth Fuemmeler, Au.D., and Clinical Product Manager at Interacoustics, elaborates:
“Physical therapists can use this information to know what head speed to start exercises at and track progress as the patient improves.”
The prosaccade and antisaccade tasks in the saccadometry protocol provide insights on functional asymmetries between the sides of the brain and deficits in the precise neural generators that promote saccadic eye movements.
And to make saccadometry even easier and more comprehensive for you, VisualEyes™ 3.1:
This can aid in a more detailed diagnosis and help to distinguish the side of lesion.
So you can easily track the progression of your patient's condition.
The 3D head model is now available in the caloric and OCR tests for VORTEQ™ sensor users. This will make it easier for users to position the head correctly and produce more accurate results.
