Equinox Evo Support
The Tone in Noise test is a method to identify the comparison of recruitment in the inner ear. When measuring a masked threshold, the sensitivity for level differences increases, making it easier to compare thresholds for damaged and non-damaged regions in the inner ear.
The test is suitable for sensorineural high frequency hearing losses, with thresholds close to normal in the low frequency range.
The Tone in Noise test is not an implemented test screen in the Equinox Suite, but is protocol based.
