Objective torsional nystagmus measurements are quite new with little published research. What amount is then significant without normative data? Learn more.
There’s been a lot of research trying to figure this out, because ideally there would be normative data values built into the software. However, because objective torsional nystagmus measurements are relatively new at the moment, there's not a lot published using this new algorithm. Key opinion leaders and researchers agree that, if you have any torsion, that's significant. On that basis we should for now consider that even just one degree of torsional nystagmus may be significant.
